We have had situations over the years here at Macungie where parents have confidentially shared with me about tough circumstances facing their family. When we have students facing the worst that life can throw at them from the loss of a parent, job, home, etc. I ask if I can add them to our Angel Network list.

We are fortunate to have many Givers on our Macungie Angel Network Donators list. These givers are made up of Parents, Faculty & Staff, and Community Members including churches, scout groups, and local businesses.

When a need is known I send out an email to the Angel Network Givers stating specific needs through a signup genius. Every year we try to stock kids up at Christmas/Hannukah time with needed food and holiday gifts. When situations such as a fire, car accident, etc. occur during the school year we send out special requests at that time.

We have been very fortunate to have had the tremendous help of the Lower Macungie Lions Club every Thanksgiving and Christmas to help supply some of our neediest families with needed food at these times. We are so grateful for their unbelievable support over the years.
