Meet Mr. Romano
Mr. Romano is excited to be a part of the Lower Macungie Middle School community as a Health/Wellness/Fitness educator. A graduate of Lock Haven University, he brings a strong foundation in health, fitness, and wellness, with a focus on encouraging students to embrace healthy lifestyles both in and out of the classroom.
With a passion for promoting physical activity, teamwork, and overall well-being, Mr. Romano strives to create an engaging and positive learning environment. Through dynamic lessons and activities, they aim to inspire students to develop lifelong habits that support their physical, emotional, and social health.
He looks forward to building lasting relationships with students, parents, and staff and contributing to the school’s health and wellness initiatives.

We will cover a variety of topics in Health class and develop personal fitness skills in Wellness/Fitness class
8th Grade Health
8th Grade Health
This course will offer essential knowledge of the structure and function of the human body, while also recognizing the impact of lifestyle choices. Some units covered will be making healthy decisions, mental health, preventing drug abuse, and relationships/human development.
7th Grade Health
7th Grade Health
This course emphasizes healthy decision making as it relates to the importance of exercising, keeping our body systems healthy, preventing violence, and identifying/avoiding the dangers of alcohol and vaping.
6th Grade Wellness/Fitness
6th Grade Wellness/Fitness
Students will be encouraged to participate in a variety of physical activities. We will build a strong foundation for skill development as well strive to commit to a lifetime of physical activity.
