Course Overview: Students will cultivate their understanding of physics through inquiry-based and data analysis investigations as they explore these

topics: 

1. kinematics

2. dynamics

3. circular motion and gravitation

4. energy

5. momentum

6. simple harmonic motion

7. torque and rotational motion

Students will have opportunities to demonstrate the foundational physics principles and apply science practices. The student will be prepared to take the AP Physics 1: Algebra Based Exam. (Fulfills STEM requirement for graduation)

Prerequisite: Recommended 80% or better in Algebra 2, 80% or better in Geometry AND concurrent enrollment in Precalculus
