Emmaus High School Course Description:
Course Number 224: Through discussion, written response, and inquiry-based approaches students will explore world history from the Italian Renaissance to the present. Students will examine major world events from Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America; such as the age of exploration, the French revolution, the Industrial revolution, and the independence movements of African and Latin American nations, establishing connections between different regions of the world and between the past and present. Students will analyze major social, political, and economic events in the world using current events to establish connections to the past through various primary sources
