Welcome! My name is Logan Wetherhold. I am the Reading Seminar teacher for 8th grade at Lower Macungie Middle School! I am apart of the All Stars team. This is my 7th year teaching. Formally, I was a kindergarten and first grade teacher.
I am originally from Berks County, Pennsylvania. I relocated to Lehigh Valley in 2021. I graduated from Governor Mifflin Senior High School in 2013. I received my Bachelors Degree at Kutztown University in Elementary Education Pre-K through 4th grade. For the previous six years, I have taught kindergarten, fourth grade, and 1st grade in the Reading School District, Wilson School District, and Bethlehem Area School District. While teaching elementary, I recognized my love for literacy and decided I wanted to pursue it further. This led me to Kutztown University once again where I completed my graduate studies to earn my Masters in Education and my Reading Specialist certification.
After relocating to the Lehigh Valley, I decided it was time for a change & decided to pursue my career in literacy - which has led me to my 8th grade Reading Seminar position at Lower Macungie Middle School in the East Penn School District! I absolutely love teaching middle school & am extremely happy with my new home here in EPSD.
In my spare time, you can find me reading on my Kindle, wedding planning, or spending time with friends and family.
