Please bring the following materials your language arts class daily:

• writer's notebook (a folder, notebook, or composition book with lined paper)

• folder or binder to organize loose papers and handouts

• chromebook

• writing utensils (pens, pencils and highlighters)

• independent reading book

I am looking forward to you sharing in the joys of reading and writing in your 8th grade year!  We will cover units that include fantasy writing, informative writing, literary essay writing, text-dependent analyses, and poetry writing, as well as reading various pieces and books in our dystopian unit!
