About Me

Hi!  My name is Mrs. Sicher (pronounced sick-er) and I teach 1st grade at Shoemaker Elementary.  This will be my 3rd year as a first grade teacher.  Prior to teaching first grade, I taught kindergarten, learning support (3rd grade - 5th grade), and preschool.  Shoemaker is my home away from home and I have been here for the last 6 years.  I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Millersville University.  Currently, I am working on my Master's degree in the area of literacy through Wilkes University.

At home, I have my wonderful husband, two silly and sweet kids, and a crazy cat.  We love to spend time outside at the playground, going for walks or bike rides, and working/playing in the yard.  My kids are great helpers to maintain our garden at home and pick vegetables.  When we are not at home, we enjoy going to Iron Pigs baseball games, swimming, watching football, or visiting family around the area. I enjoy going to PGA events with my mom and aunt, and I am also a huge 49ers football fan.
