Emmaus High School Field Study Highlights
The purpose of the Field Study program is to provide Emmaus High School students the opportunity to explore careers of interest, to develop employability skills, and to gain hands-on experience in a business or agency within the community.
Field Study allows students to earn academic credit (.25 up to 2.0 credits) while working in the field, getting real experience and learning from professionals. The intent is for students to pursue a job or career that they are not currently qualified to do.
While Field Study is unpaid, it could possibly lead to future paid employment and additional references.
See the Field Study Program Handbook posted below for more details.
The Field Study program will be accepting applications for rising 11th and 12th grade students for the 2025-2026 school year beginning February 20, 2025. Students must be in good academic standing and have a positive attendance and discipline record. Applications will be accepted through March 5, 2025.
