- Put 8 oz. of cold tap water inside a glass cup
- Place hard boiled shelled egg inside
- Add a teaspoon of Epsom Salt, Magnesium Sulfate, and stir until the salt crystals disappear.
- Keep adding the salt until the water is saturated. It took quite some time, so we added and even poured the salt.
- When it reached total saturation, the crystal didn’t dissolve.
- All in all, we added the same amount of salt as the water
- The water line did not rise, but the molecular mass did change.
