Supplies for ELA

You will need the following materials for 8th grade language arts class this year:

• Binder to store your handouts, homework, and returned work (a spot in a shared binder is sufficient, as is an accordion / expanding file folder; whatever works best for you)

  • • In the binder, include two (pocket) folders with holes to put in your binder (to sort worksheets, assignments, etc)

• Three composition books or one 3 Subject notebook. These are needed for:

  • • DAILY Grammar

    • Writing Workshop

    • Reading Workshop & Vocabulary

• Pencils, pens, highlighters, and an eraser

• Several packs of post-its

• School-issued Assignment Book

• Your Chromebook

• Language Arts book (whatever is required for the current unit)

• Your independent reading book(s)!
