Bonjour et bienvenue!
I was born and raised in France 30 minutes North West of Paris where I studied linguistics and translation at the university of La Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. After my Master's and working on translating documents for Y2K I decided I wanted to change fields. I applied to become an exchange teaching assistant and was accepted at Lehigh University where I started my teaching career and graduated with a Master's in secondary education in 2001. I have been teaching since in different school districts finally settling in the East Penn School District in 2015.
I am married to a native of Poland and we raise 3 very energetic trilingual children who attend school in a neighboring district.
I speak 4 languages and I still hope to be able to make a correct sentence in Polish. I love learning about cultures, people and the structure of languages. I hope I can share and convey this to my classes but most importantly I hope my students become responsible citizens open to change and willing to take risks.
I am looking forward to a great school year filled with learning and growing!
