About Me

Welcome!

This is my 2nd year at Emmaus High School teaching Family and Consumer Sciences. During the 2016-2017 school year, I will be teaching both Creative Foods and International Foods.

A short background about myself:

I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2010 with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science Education. After graduating college, I worked for Rodale Inc. in their Test Kitchen where I developed, tested, wrote, and edited recipes for books and magazines such as Men's Health, Women's Health, Prevention, and the Wheat Belly Cookbook. I also lived in Manassas, Virginia and taught CTE courses at a local high school. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree from California University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of school, you will find me outdoors! I love spending time outdoors biking, hiking, kayaking, or reading a book. I love to cooking and trying new recipes for my family to get feedback. I also love to travel and I have a long list of places I would like to visit!

I am excited that you are in my class this semester! I am looking forward to a productive and exciting semester together.

Please do not hesitate to email me or meet with me during the school day about any questions or concerns you may have regarding this class.
