An assessment will be given after each unit of study.
The length of a unit of study varies, but the student will be given notice (of approximately one week) before this assessment is given.
Students should bring their notebooks home to study for these assessments.
Students may also study for these tests using the Science pages in this class website.
In most cases, a Quizizz study link will be provided in Google Classroom. Students may go on this as many times as they want to help them review.
Students may also go on the MobyMax website and go to the science section to help them study.
Projects and experiments may be classroom-based, home-based, or a combination of the two. The criteria for these projects will be posted on the Google Classroom page so that you can see what is expected.
As long as students are keeping up in class, there will not be daily homework in science. If this changes, I will let students and parents know about this via. e-mail.
Students should study for assessments at home using the following:
Notebooks
Fifth Grade Science Website (There are many videos and links by topic to help)
Quizizz (link will be available on Google Classroom)

MobyMax - Science
Projects may be homework-based. If so, parents and students will be notified via. e-mail.
