Welcome

Welcome to the theatre and yearbook departments. I have had the pleasure of teaching at Eastland High School for many years. My education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Tarleton State University in theatre and speech, a Masters of Arts Teaching in English from Tarleton, and a journalism certification. I also keep up to date with theatre topics through my membership in the Texas Educational Theatre Association. Most of all, I am glad to serve the students in Eastland. At E.H.S. we are proud to have many options for students in the theatre department including curricular and extracurricular activities. Students have been successful in one-act play and have received state championship medals in theatrical design. In the yearbook department, the staff works every year to improve the journalistic quality of our yearbook The Maverick and have received honorable mention from Balfour. I am certainly proud of our mavericks!
