EISD has received notice that the expansion and modification application as been accepted. 

May 31, 2022

EISD has received feedback from TEA regarding the expansion and modification application. All questions were scored at full readiness except two. Those two items will be revised and resubmitted to TEA no later than June 30, 2022. 

April 15, 2022

EISD has submitted an extension and modification application for our local designation plan. The plan, if accepted, will expand the number of eligible teaching assignments. 

February 10, 2022

HB 1525 has removed the requirement for teachers to hold a valid SBEC certification in order to be eligible to earn a TIA designation. For additional updates, please refer to the following video.

EISD has received notification that our submitted local designation plan has been accepted by TEA at full readiness. Our initial data capture year will begin in August of 2021.

EISD has received the results from the TIA Texas Tech Buy-in Survey. Thanks to all who participated. 

April 19, 2021

EISD has received feedback from TEA regarding our submitted local designation plan. The plan scored at full readiness for all but two questions. These questions will be revised and submitted back to TEA at the end of April.
