Push Back is played on a 12" by 12" field of grey foam tiles, with the primary Game Element being an 18-sided Block for both the Red and Blue Alliances. Blocks are scored in Goals across the field and can be picked up from Load Zones to supplement the available supply of each color Block. A key element of this year's game is goal control. Teams score additional points for having the most Blocks in the Center Goals, and by controlling the center zone in Long Goals. Additionally, Alliances score points by having one or both of their robots end the match in the Parking Zone, with a large scoring bonus if both robots manage to fit. As with prior years, Matches begin with a 15-second Autonomous Period and are followed by a 1:45 Driver Control Period.
