Reading:   

• We will be talking about the seasons in our first Arts and Letters unit!  Students will be discussing change and writing stories about fall leaves and snowflakes.  

Phonics (Fundations):  *Tentative Assessment the week September 21st*

• Short vowels, Consonant blends, digraphs

Writing: Subject and Predicate

• Students will identify subjects versus predicates as well as fragments versus complete sentences.  

Math (Math & You): *Assessment Week of September 21st

• Chapter 2: Fluently Add and Subtract to 20

        • Use doubles

        • Make a 10 to add

        • Add 3 numbers

        • Subtract using a number line

        • Relate addition to subtraction

        • Get to 10 to subtract

        • Problem solving
