We are tapping out words beginning with a consonant, then vowel, then consonant (cvc) such as "cup", "mat". Tapping them out, reading, and writing these words will be our focus for a few weeks. Please help your child at home. A packet of information and resources to review and practice with your child at home was sent home. Numbers to 20 is or math topic. Knowing tens and ones, writing numbers, concepts of before, between, after, and ten frames are all skills within the chapter.
Materials, namely paper is our science focus. Different types of paper will be shown and hands-on activities will take place.
"I am Special" will be our next focus for our social studies curriculum.
