Miss Elsesser will be in her seventh year of teaching, it is her sixth year of teaching first grade at Memorial School.  During the 2019-2020 school year she taught the second grade at Memorial School. She received her Master's in Elementary Education from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2017. She has worked in other school districts in Connecticut including Coventry, Windsor Locks, and Windham. 

Miss Elsesser enjoys reading picture books to her class, completing science experiments, tackling tricky math problems, and talking about all things social studies. She cannot wait to dive into the school year. She already has lots of fun plans for the school year!

In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places, playing with her Golden Retriever Quinn, and listening to podcasts. Over the summer, Miss Elsesser spent a lot of time on Block Island, Rhode Island , and working to get Room 11 set up for her cheetahs.  I'm excited to get to know you all this school year!
