Hi! My name is Mrs. Baker, and I am happy to welcome you to another school year at Samuel Mickle School! I hope you are ready for a fantastic year! I am the 6th grade resource room and in-class resource room teacher for Math in 6th grade. This will be my 10th year teaching at Samuel Mickle. My goal is to provide all my students with consistent support, guidance, and positivity. I believe in creating a positive learning environment that focuses on motivation and achievement. I often will remind my students to try their best and have fun :)

I graduated from Saint Joseph's University (go Hawks!) in 2015 and received my Master's in Education in 2016.
My first year of teaching was at a charter school in Philadelphia.
I LOVE to travel all around the world. I've visited a total of 12 countries... and counting!
My favorite place to be with my family at our summer shore house in Brigantine, NJ and Sea Isle City, NJ.
I have a twin sister Martha who is a successful manager of a team in human relations. I also have an older sister Athena who is a pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I'm a proud aunt to my two nephews!
I'm a BIG Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles fan - GO BIRDS AND FLYERS : )
I LOVE to eat anything chocolate!!
My favorite meal is Thanksgiving Dinner.
