Grading Policy and Assessment Information

Your child will receive a weekly homework grade starting at 100 points. Each homework assignment that they miss, they will forfeit 25 points for that week.

Subject grades are divided into three categories:

Primary (50%), Secondary (35%), and Supportive Assessments 15%).

Math Primary: Unit Tests, Chapter Tests

Math Secondary: Quizzes, Spiral Reviews

Math Supportive: Guided Practice, Weekly Homework

Science Primary: Tests, LAB Reports, Interactive Portfolios

Science Secondary: Quizzes, Essential Questions

Science Supportive: Classwork, Homework, Stations

SS Primary: Tests, Projects

SS Secondary: Quizzes, TFK, Essential Questions

SS Supportive: Homework, Binder Checks

Classroom Management

• Raise your hand to share and/or ask questions

• Always be respectful

• Try your best!

Consequences:

• Warning

• Think about it / Discussion/meet with teacher
