Scarecrow Frame Pick-Up Info: 

Wednesday, October 1st & Thursday, October 2nd, 2025

Location: Bus Lane Parking Lot between Jeffery Clark and Samuel Mickle - Please pull in through Samuel Mickle and exit out of Jeffrey Clark

Time: 5:00-7:00

Rules & Guidelines

To ensure fairness, safety, and a wonderful display for all, please adhere to the following:

1. Frame Usage: All scarecrows must be built around the provided wooden frame.

2. Size: Finished scarecrows should not exceed 6 feet in height or 3 feet in width.

3. Materials:

   • Use weather-resistant materials where possible (e.g., durable fabrics, waterproof paint).

   • Avoid perishable items (e.g., real fruits, vegetables, food) that will rot or attract pests.

   • Ensure all materials are securely attached and safe for public display (no sharp edges, hazardous materials, or easily detachable small parts).

4. Content: Scarecrows should be family-friendly and appropriate for a school environment. No offensive, violent, or politically themed scarecrows.

5. Stability: Scarecrows must be stable and able to withstand outdoor elements (wind, rain). Instructions for securely hanging your scarecrow will be provided with the frame.

6. Labeling: Clearly label your scarecrow with your assigned entry number (provided at registration) in a visible spot. Do NOT put your name on the scarecrow.

7. Removal: Participants are responsible for removing their scarecrow by November 15th, 2025. Any scarecrows remaining after this date will be discarded.
