PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The total of 36 credit hours is required to obtain an MSc in CSE degree. Credits are distributed in the following manner:
** Students who have completed 4 years B. Sc. degree from an Engineering background (other than CSE) or 4 years B. Sc. degree with a strong background in Mathematics or Physics from an approved university will need to complete additional 12 credits.

admission Requirements
Students who have a CGPA of 2.5 (out of 4) or equivalent in any one of the following degree can apply:
B. Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering.
B. Sc. in other Engineering disciplines.
4 years B. Sc. degree with a strong background in Mathematics or Physics from an approved university or an accredited institution of higher education.
SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL AIDS
Board of trustees-Chairman's Alumni Scholarship (for EDUvians) [during admission]
Upto 80% schlarship on tuition fee will be offered to EDU Alumni who have scored CGPA >=3.75 & uptp 75% will be offered who have scored CGPA >=3.25 but < 3.75.
Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
A student must enrol 12 credits & maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in the semesters on which the scholarships eligibility is measured
Professor Jamal Nazrul Islam Bursary for Non-EDUvians [during admission]
Upto 75% schlarship on tuition fee will be offered to the applicants who have scored CGPA >=3.25.
Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
A student must enrol 12 credits & maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in the semesters on which the scholarships eligibility is measured
Board of trustees-Chairman’s Merit Award
This scholarship scheme aims to reward those meritorious students who have obtained
a total GPA of 3.85 out of 4 in 3 consecutive semesters.
Applicable to: Existing students
Value: BDT3,000/-
Applicable Requirement of the Scholarship:
A Student must enrol 12 credits in the semesters on which the scholarships eligibility is measured
Professor Jamal Nazrul Islam Bursary for Non-EDUvians
Upto 75% schlarship on tuition fee will be offered to the applicants who have scored CGPA >=3.25.
Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
A student must enrol 12 credits & maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in the semesters on which the scholarships eligibility is measured
Board of trustees-Chairman’s Outstanding Student Award
This scholarship scheme aims to reward those meritorious students who have obtained
a total GPA of 4 out of 4 in 3 consecutive semesters.
Applicable to: Existing students
Value: BDT4,000/-
Applicable Requirement of the Scholarship:
A Student must enrol 12 credits in the semesters on which the scholarships eligibilty is measured
Fee Waivers for Family Members of EDU's full-time students/alumni
Sibling/ spouse of EDU's full-time students/alumni will receive 30% tuition fee waiver in all programs (not applicable for those who have already received other waivers or Financial Support higher than or equal to 30%).
Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
Students must maintain CGPA 3.00 and above for continuation of tuition fee waiver.
Fee Waivers for Sibling/Spouse/Ward of EDU's full-time employee
Sibling/spouse/ward of EDU's full-time employee will receive 40% tuition fee waiver in all programs (not applicable for those who have already received other waivers or financial support higher than or equal to 40%).
Applicable Requirement for the Continuation of the Scholarship:
Students must maintain a CGPA 3.00 and above for continuing of tuition fee waiver.
