Dr. Md. Mahfuzul Islam is currently working as a Lecturer in the School of Business Administration at East Delta University.

Prior to joining East Delta University, Dr. Mahfuzul worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in a prestigious research program of the University of Oxford, "REACH: Improving Water Security for the Poor" at the Institute of Water and Flood Management, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He had also successfully completed research training at the University of Oxford under the School of Geography and the Environment. 

Dr. Mahfuzul was awarded a PhD from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2021. He had a Master of Management from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and a BBA (major in International Business) from North South University. He has several research publications in Web of Science (SCIE, Q1) and Scopus-indexed journals of Springer Nature as a 'Lead Author'.
