Imtiaz Akber Chowdhury joined East Delta University (EDU) as an Assistant Professor in the School of Science, Engineering and Technology (SoSET) in September 2025. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor of the Department of EEE at USTC, Chattogram, Bangladesh. Imtiaz received the B.Sc. degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from International Islamic University Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2014 and M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Kyung Hee University, Yongin, South Korea in 2020. During his post-graduation, he worked as a Research Assistant in Electronic department at Kyung Hee University where he was involved in several projects related to UAV-assisted communication. His research interest includes unmanned aerial vehicle assisted communication, mm-Wave antenna design for 5G communication, and the Internet of things. Imtiaz has published numerous articles in reputable journals and conferences, sharing his insights on topics ranging from wireless communication to antenna design for 5G technology.
