ABOUT Fathima 

Fathima Nabeelah Yoonoos Murtaza joined East Delta University’s School of Business Administration as a Lecturer in the fall of 2022. Within a year, she was appointed as Assistant Director for External Engagement where she mainly overlooks the academic partnerships of EDU with various other reputed universities around the world. Nabeelah’s dynamism and proactive personality has made her a member of several committees and projects conducted within the university.

Nabeelah completed her undergraduate studies from Monash University, Malaysia where her academic achievements enabled her to secure a fully funded scholarship of one year for academic research. Her outstanding performance during her four year journey earned her a permanent membership in the elite honors society recognized as the Golden Key International Honor Society. Nabeelah’s interest in the rapid globalization of the world’s economy drew her to pursue the Master in Business Administration in International Business degree from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Nabeelah has always recognized herself as an educator, dedicated towards uplifting and broadening the minds of the youth. Her professional journey formally began in 2016 as a teacher of Business Studies and Economics in one of Sri Lanka’s leading private colleges. Upon moving to Bangladesh permanently in 2020, Nabeelah briefly served as a Higher Education Consultant and IELTS instructor before embarking upon her journey with EDU. Nabeelah’s passion for education has made her committed to making the classroom experience for students at all levels; one that is fun, educational and memorable.

Apart from her active role as an academic, Nabeelah is also a certified fitness, wellness and lifestyle coach; dedicated to teaching people the art of attaining a healthy and sustainable work-life balance.
