ABOUT Mohibul
Dr. K. M. Mohibul Kabir joined East Delta University (EDU) as an Associate Professor in the School of
Science, Engineering & Technology in September 2022. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor
in the same school at EDU. He also worked as an Australian Research Council DECRA - Research
Fellow and Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Chemistry, University of New South Wales (UNSW),
Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Kabir completed his PhD from Center for Advanced Materials & Industrial Chemistry, Department of
Applied Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, with
specialization in micro- and nanoscale acoustic wave gas sensors. He completed his Master of Science
and Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Islamic University
Technology (IUT), Gazipur, Bangladesh.
Dr. Kabir’s current research focus is on acoustic wave-based sensor and high electric field-spectrometer
development for important applications such as disease diagnosis, proteomics, forensics, and
environmental monitoring. To date, he has published 35 peer-reviewed journal articles in Scopus-indexed
journals with 29 articles in Q1 journals, and 6 in Q2 journals.
