Abu M Hanif is currently working as a lecturer in the Department of Economics at East Delta University (EDU), Chattogram, Bangladesh. He holds a BSS (Hon’s) and MSS in Economics and Banking from the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), where he was awarded the prestigious Chancellor Gold Medal for his outstanding academic excellence. Continuing his pursuit of advanced studies, Mr. Hanif completed a Master’s in Governance and Development Studies from Jahangirnagar University (JU). He is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Development Economics (Research) at the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS), affiliated with the University of Dhaka (DU), fully funded by the Ministry of Planning of People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Mr. Hanif's research interests span environment and resource economics, governance and development, inclusive growth and unemployment, and development economics. He has published research articles in reputed international journals, contributing significantly to these fields. With a commitment to fostering academic excellence and research, Mr. Hanif continues to inspire and guide students at EDU.
