Google Apps

Children in Years 3-6 all have a school email address which allows them to access a Google account that is controlled by East Taieri. Some children are able to access this account independently to create and edit work using Google Apps. Many of the children in Year 3 have not had the teaching yet to successfully access and use their Google Apps suite. However, they are still able to log in with parent support.

If your child does not know their email address or password, you can contact your child's teacher to find out this information.

Some senior classrooms are using Google Classroom. Please contact your child's teacher to see if this is the case, and for further information.

To access Google Suite, open up the Chrome internet browser. Go to sign in. Your child needs to sign in with their school email address and enter their password. They can then click on the 9 dot square at the top right of the screen which is called the Google Apps button. It will then bring up the apps your child is able to access. Their Google Drive is where all of their files are held that they create. They also have access to gmail which is monitored by their teacher.
