This question is difficult to answer because so many of you are headed to different places to do wildly different things. Some of you are headed off to college while others are joining the workforce. Some of you will head into the military and some of you will start a business. Some of you will get into health care, some of you will be farmers or mechanics or teachers or lawyers or insurance salesmen or restaurateurs or ...well...you get the picture.

How do we ensure our students are college and career ready?
Teachers Teaching the Iowa Core Curriculum
East Buchanan teachers use the Iowa CORE Curriculum to guide instruction. Teachers work together to create LEARNING GOALS and SUCCESS CRITERIA from the Core Curriculum. Their job is to help their students understand the material in the Core. They do this by turning learning goals into "I Understand" statements and showing you what success looks like by using "I Can" statements and examples as "Success Criteria".
