Understanding Item Types
On-Demand items can be bought as “one offs”.
EAS does not have to pre-purchase these items
Think: Embroidered items that do not require a minimum qty (Examples: most clothing & hats)
Employee purchases from the store > item is acquired from the item vendor > it is shipped to be embroidered > it is shipped to the purchaser.
Longer lead time- 3-4 weeks
Easier to offer multiple company logos & a wider selection of items
Inventory items are pre-purchased by EAS
Held in inventory until an order is placed on the store then shipped directly to purchaser
Think: Items that require screen printing, embossing, etc. and have a minimum qty to purchase from wholesaler (Examples: drinkware, umbrellas, screen printed shirts)
Employee purchases from the store > item is pulled from store inventory and ships same day (if ordered before 3pm)
Can have items in hand within a couple of days
On-Demand items and Inventory items ship from two different locations. This is why you may notice separate shipping charges if your order a combination of item types. Inventory items will ship that day (if before 3PM) and On-Demand will ship once the item has been produced.
*Item prices are for based on a single item purchase. For group orders with bulk pricing, navigate to the Custom Orders page on this site. You can request bulk pricing for items already on the store or request help sourcing a different item for your team/event.
