8th Grade Course Selection Presentation - this video will provide valuable information about the course selection process for 8th grade students and will help them select classes through the PowerSchool portal. It was made available through Schoology on March 4th for all online learners.

The following is a listing of important dates and times that will help you and your child better understand the Course Selection process for 9th grade.

March 4th - presentation to 8th grade students during Social Studies classes. EHS Course Selection Google website opens up for parents. Online course selection video posted to Schoology for online learners.

March 8th - EHS School Counselors will be available for live Question and Answer sessions throughout the day to help answer any questions that might arise as you watch the videos and work with your child through the process. Q&A sessions will take place through Microsoft TEAMS, with the times and links for the online meeting listed below. The 10am and 1:30pm session will feature breakout rooms where you will be able to meet with an EHS counselor one on one. The 6:30pm session will be a large group open room drop in session.

March 14th - All 8th graders need to have course requests entered in their PowerSchool portal (before midnight).

March 15th - Mr. Crow and Mr. Habowski will be in Mr. Sweigart's classroom to go over course request and answer any questions students have.

March 16th - Mr. Crow and Ms. Batdorf will be in Mr. Ullrich's classroom to go over course request and answer any questions students have.

March 18th - Mr. Crow and Mrs. Davies will be in Mr. Mitchell's classroom to go over course request and answer any questions students have.

Wednesday March 31st - final day to make any course request changes

• For general changes, a parent/guardian just needs to email Mr. Crow with the requested change.

• Teacher recommendation change - a conversation with the teacher should occur, then parent needs to sign and submit a Teacher Recommendations Change form.
