As part of the Year 5 and 6 Victorian Curriculum, students learn about transfer and transformations of electricity, and continue to develop an understanding of energy flows through systems.

They link their experiences of electric circuits as a system at one scale, to generation of electricity from a variety of sources at another scale and begin to see links between these systems.

At Earth Ed our It's Electrifying unit provides students with experiences to develop their understandings of energy, static and flow electricity and are challenged to imagine and create a circuit to apply their learning.

This site has been created to support students and teachers in schools when learning about energy and can support the hands on experiences we offer at Earth Ed, both onsite and as an outreach program.
