Our first entries

Congratulations to these budding photographers from Daylesford Primary School and Trinity Catholic Primary School for sending in our first entries for our 5km Photo Challenge.

It is so great to see the colours of Spring in these images.

We will continue to take entries until September 17, 2021 (End of Term 3).

Nature, colour, outside, up-high ...

We are excited to share some more images that have been sent in for our 5km photo challenge. A big shout out to Sunbury Downs College students who have entered the Years 5 - 8 section as well as Daylesford PS and Trinity Catholic PS.

We have a little over a week to go. Winners will be announced here as well as our Earth Ed Facebook page. Entries close, Friday, September 17.

Entries by Pleasant St, St Mary's Clarkes Hill and Trinity College - updated 11/9/21

We are absolutely loving seeing our beautiful world through the students eyes within their 5km zone. It always amazes us how creative students can be and how a image can brighten our day. Keep up the great work ... one week until the competition closes.

3 days to go

Here is some great entries sent in by students at Pleasant St PS, Kardinia International College, Trinity Catholic PS and Daylesford PS.

We have just 3 days to go before entries close. Let us see what you see in your 5km zone and enter for a chance to win.

Winners announced early in Term 4.

1 day left to enter

We have had over 100 entries in the 5km photo challenge and it has been an absolute delight to see the world (well, the 5km world of our entrants) through the eyes of our students.

So far we have over 70 entries on the Years 5-8 section with photos in a range of categories such as colour, nature, inside, outside, up high, down low, shape and size. Well done kids!

This means we have around 40 entries from our P - 4 students and they have entered a range of categories.

It is going to be very difficult to choose the winners ... but this will happen early in Term 4 and the winners entries will be shared here as well as on our Earth Ed Facebook page.

Good luck to everyone.

Final entries

Today marks the end of the 5km challenge and we would like to pass on our congratulations to ALL students who have taken the time to share what is in their 5km zone!

It is going to be a tough challenge for the Earth Ed team to choose the winners as there are so many wonderful images being shared.

We will continue to add images up to 2:30 pm today and we wish all the students, teachers and school staff a safe and well deserved break over the holidays.

Stay positive and continue to capture what you see close to you ... we do have an amazing country and are fortunate to be able to participate in our beautiful world.
