Welcome to Mrs. Jeppesen's 3rd Grade Class!

About me

Hello 3rd graders and family! I am thrilled to be at Early Light Academy for a second year! Over the summer I got married, so some of your students (and what's reflected in my contact information) may know me by my maiden name of Hill, but this year I am going by Mrs. Jeppesen (jep-sen).

I am eager to share my enthusiasm for learning with my students. I believe deeply in the value of building strong, meaningful, and lasting relationships in the classroom, and I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel seen and valued.

Beyond my work in the classroom, I'm passionate about the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, gardening, and simply spending time outside. Some of my other hobbies include cooking, trying new foods, traveling both domestically and internationally, spending quality time with the people I love, and camping at Grand Teton National Park at least twice a year. 

I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with the Early Light Academy community and look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the year! :)
