The Early County Learning & Opportunity Academy (ECLOA) supports students in grades 6–12 who may benefit from a more structured and supportive learning environment. While ECLOA operates as a standalone program with its own dedicated campus, it is not a separate school of record. ECLOA operates under the Early County School System and does not issue diplomas; students remain enrolled in their home schools and the goal is for students to return to those schools upon meeting program requirements.
Our mission is to provide students with a second chance to succeed academically, behaviorally, and personally through individualized instruction and targeted support. Our goal is to help students overcome challenges and build the skills necessary to succeed both in school and in life.
Students may be placed at ECLOA for a variety of reasons including academic recovery, behavioral intervention, or virtual instruction. Whether a student is overcoming academic challenges or working through behavioral issues, our team is committed to fostering growth and helping each student return to their traditional school setting prepared and confident.

The Georgia Department of Education, in conjunction with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, operates a statewide, 24-hour, toll-free, school safety hotline. The hotline was established in 1998 and gives students, teachers, parents, and others a way to report threats and other school crimes both easily and anonymously. Georgia's 24-hour school safety hotline number is 1-877-SAY-STOP (1-877-729-7867).
