Welcome to Early County Elementary School!  The early years of a child’s education are often the most important.  At ECES we lay the educational foundation for the world’s future engineers, doctors, lawyers, teachers, soldiers, athletes, and members of the workforce.  We also encourage our students and staff to embrace Early County's rich history of success. 

The past two years have been challenging for our community, our nation, and our world, but we are resilient and we continue to rise to those tough challenges. It is my hope that we all have learned something from our experiences and that we have grown because of them. Now, we move forward stronger and united. At the same time, we can ALL strive to be better as individuals. Therefore, our theme for the 2023-2024 is “Building Better Bobcats.” 

 It is our belief that good, open communication between home and school is vital to the success of our students as well as our educational programs.  Parents are the primary educators in a child’s life, so it is very important that collaboration and cooperation exist with parents and teachers. 

 Parents and school personnel are partners in the important job of educating the children of this community.  We welcome your participation and support during the school year and encourage your membership in the Parent/ Teacher Organization (P.T.O.) and School Council.  Working together, we will be able to make great strides to provide the best education for the children.  We look forward to a cherished relationship with all of the students and parents as we prepare to educate the youth of Early County Elementary School.
