Autumn 2024 Year 6 Swimming Sessions

Library

We go to the library every Monday and Wednesday.

Please make sure your child returns the book to either renew or change it for a new one.

The library will also be open during lunchtimes throughout the week and children can return and check out new books then as well.

Lost Library Books

It is your child’s responsibility to look after their library books, if books are lost or damaged a contribution of £4.00 for each book will be asked for.

Homework

HOMEWORK is handed out on Fridays.

It is returned on the following Wednesday.

Please make sure the reading record gets checked and signed every day, this is to ensure that they are reading for a minimum of 20 minutes a day.

Every Friday we will test your child's spelling. Focus spelling words will appear on the front of their homework sheet.

Physical Education

Our PE day is on Tuesday.

Please ensure your child comes to school in the correct PE kit

Children are not to wear clothing with logos other than the Earlsmead logo

Earrings and jewellery is not to be worn on PE days. All jewellery will have to be removed and keeping them safe will be the responsibility of your child
