Agroforestry helps us use our land space better.
Why the need for Agroforestry?
You may have heard about the need to conserve our forests. Many jungles are vanishing, and their land is being used for farming or building homes. Our planet’s green cover is almost gone, and this is causing a lot of problems. Without trees, the Earth is getting hotter. The air is becoming more polluted. With the help of Agroforestry, we hope to fix these problems by growing food and planting trees together.
Did you know that only 12% of the original Atlantic Forest is left? By planting native trees, we can help to restore nature habitats and ecosystems and mitigate global climate change. Trees are important for storing water, providing food for humans and animals, and soaking up pollution and dust from the air.
