You know the challenge as well as anyone. We lose talented teachers and leaders every year. In international schools, that number is compounded by mobility, isolation, and the reality that most early-career educators receive little more than an orientation and good intentions. We recruit well. We onboard quickly. But we do not develop deliberately.
The Arc of an Educator changes that. It is a 10-month, school-embedded residency that pairs early-career teachers with trained mentors inside a structured Discover–Build–Advance cycle. and aspiring leaders with leader mentors. It is not a workshop series. It is not a graduate seminar. It is a full-time apprenticeship inside your school, offering training, design and support from the most forward-thinking organizations and institutions.
What sets this apart is the credential. Participants who complete the residency earn a Certificate of Competency in International Teaching or in International Leadership depending on the program they chose from Teachers College, Columbia University. Mentors earn their own credential as well. This is not symbolic recognition, it is a university-backed qualification that signals professional readiness and builds a school’s internal talent pipeline in a way that no external hire can replicate.
Led and facilitated by Education Accelerated, TruFit Talent and 2 Revolutions we bring together decades of expertise in growing and developing teachers, mentors and leaders.
This webinar invites every head of school, academic director, and HR lead in our region to learn and understand what this program offers and how it works. During the webinar, we will review the structure, the mentoring model, the credentialing pathway, the investment, and how your school can participate in the inaugural cohort.
We hope you’ll join us on May 2 to learn more.
