Zach Barnett

About Me

Hello! This is my second year teaching and also my second year at Cedar Creek! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelors degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Trumpet. During my time in college, I participated with the Longhorn Marching Band, as well as many of their ensembles.  I've been in Texas my entire life.  I was born in Dallas, raised in Houston, and now am starting my own family here in Austin. My wife and I met in our highschools marching band, and have a daughter, named Cora. I strive to let every one of my students have the same opportunities to succeed, as well as letting students who are passionate about music start their musical careers in my classroom.
