Meet the Librarian

Hello! My name is Ms. Jazmine Keeton, and I'm super stoked to be your librarian! I love talking about books and helping students find their next favorite read, so come and visit me in the library!

I had the wonderful opportunity to grow up in Eanes ISD! I started out at Cedar Creek Elementary School, went along to Hill Country Middle School, and then graduated from Westlake High School in 2013. Following this, I went to Texas State University and earned my Bachelor's Degree in English with a minor in History. I'm currently in graduate school at Texas State University and Texas Woman's University, earning my MA in Literature and my Master's of Library Science, respectively. This will be my seventh year at West Ridge Middle School, but my second year as the librarian. I was previously an ELA teacher here for sixth and eighth grade. 

When I'm not in the library, I love to listen to music, binge movies, create, go to concerts, spend time with my cats (pictured below), and READ. Reading is one of my favorite things to do; I'm usually reading multiple books at one time! If I'm not doing any of the above mentioned, I love spending time with my family. They are my biggest supporters, and I wouldn't be where I am without them.

I'm looking forward to having a year filled with lots of fun, learning, and growth!
