About Me

Hi! Welcome to my website. I am extremely excited for this year and cannot wait to start doing some Algebra together! 

This is my first year teaching and my second year in Austin. I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. I moved out to Austin when my fiancé got his dream job working as a data analyst for the UT Athletic Department (We're still trying to figure out how to say hook 'em instead of Roll Tide). I graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (big STEM fan). 

I have had a very busy summer planning my upcoming wedding,  celebrating my oldest sister's pregnancy, and helping plan my middle sister's engagement (very busy time in our family!). I will be getting married at the end of September to my high school sweetheart, Alex. 

Some of my favorite things are thriller books and movies, trips to our lake house in Alabama, traveling, and spending time with my loved ones. I am extremely passionate about teaching and learning, and I cannot wait to guide my students to success.
