About Me

I was born and raised in the loud and proud city of New Orleans, Louisiana (Who Dat!), but I have been living in Austin for the past nine years. I graduated from St. Edward's University with a Bachelors in English Language Arts/ Reading and a minor in Teacher Education. Despite graduating as an Education Major, I also focused my collegiate studies on Ethics, Rhetoric, and Literature.

This will be my fifth year teaching at Westlake and I could not be more excited for a new and hopefully less unorthodox year! While teaching is definitely a passion of mine, you can also find me spending time with friends and family, traveling around the country, testing new recipes, eating out at local restaurants, and attending concerts.
