About Me

This is my seventh year in public education and my first year at Westlake High School. I am from North Carolina and spent the first part of my career in garden design. I also pursued academics interests in the history and philosophy of science at Indiana University in Bloomington. My wife and I then decided to move to Texas. I earned my masters from University of Houston for curriculum and instruction. We lived in Galveston for close to ten years.

We are new to the Austin area and have just begun exploring the parks with our three year old son.
