Coach Mound

My name is Patrick Mound and this is my third year teaching and coaching at Westlake High School. Previously, I was a college men's basketball coach at several universities in Texas and Arkansas. My beautiful wife, Jennifer, and I share two boys: Landyn and Hudson, who will turn 7 and 1 (respectively) in December! 

I grew up mostly in the North Austin area, where I attended both Westlake and Georgetown High School before graduating from Coleman High School in West Texas. I received my B.A. and M.S. degrees at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX while playing basketball, after making stops at McMurry University and Angelo State as a student-athlete. 

I am excited to be at Westlake for the 2024-2025 school year! Go Chaps!
