About Me

Hello! My name is Paula McKinney. This is my fourteenth year to teach at Westlake High School and my 24th year as a teacher. I love my job and I love teaching computer science. I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from Louisiana State University. Geaux Tigers! In May, 2012 I graduated from Texas State University with my Masters in Secondary Education. Thank you Eanes Educational Foundation and the PTEP program for helping to make that possible.

I am married and the mother of four daughters. I am a grandmother to Henry, Michael, Evelyn, Clyde, Willa , James and Alina.

I enjoy running, cycling, barre and being outside.
