About Me

Hello visitors!  I am Max Smith and I've been teaching at Westlake High School since the fall of 1998.  I am proud to say that I am entering my 7th year at the TLC for my 28th year of teaching in the Westlake Community.

My family photo is above.  We love to do many things and you may find that we'll not do something more than once.  Variety is the spice of life and we try to experience as much of it as we can when we have family time.  Corinne is my wife and our daughter Zoe going into her sophomore year at the University of Arkansas. We are happy and honored to be part of the Westlake community and happy to serve.  Welcome back to school and we wish all WHS students, faculty (new and experienced) and parents and families a happy and successful 2025-26 school year.
