About Mr. Mathieu

Hello everyone, I have the pleasure of teaching AP Environmental Science this year at Westlake High! This will be my third year teaching at Westlake and my second year teaching APES; however, with six years of dedicated teaching experience teaching earth and space science, environmental science, and biology, I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter in my educational journey at this incredible school. My passion for fostering young minds and facilitating their growth has only deepened with each passing year. Beyond the classroom, I am an avid enthusiast of various activities that keep me engaged and energized. When I'm not guiding my students, you can find me immersed in weight training, ice hockey, golf, boating, snowboarding, and I am always willing to try something new. Just as I encourage my students to explore their potential, I believe in continuously expanding my horizons. I am excited to bring this enthusiasm and vitality into both my teaching and interactions within the Eanes community.
