About Mr. Mathieu

Hello everyone, I have the pleasure of teaching Biology this year at Westlake High! This will be my first year teaching at Westlake and my first year teaching Biology; however with five years of dedicated teaching experience teaching Earth and space science and environmental science, I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter in my educational journey at this incredible school. My passion for fostering young minds and facilitating their growth has only deepened with each passing year. Beyond the classroom, I am an avid enthusiast of various activities that keep me engaged and energized. When I'm not guiding my students, you can find me immersed in weight training, ice hockey, golf, boating, Snowboarding, and am always willing to try something new. Just as I encourage my students to explore their potential, I believe in continuously expanding my horizons. I am excited to bring this enthusiasm and vitality into both my teaching and interactions within the Eanes community.
