Precalculus
Course Overview
Precalculus is a powerful course in the high school mathematics path. This is the class where we tie all of the skills from the entirety of prior years together and get a sense of where we were headed all these years. Fall semester is primarily focused on trigonometry and its applications towards the world we live in. Spring semester is an overview of algebra and its applications in the world, all in preparation for the student's next step. Whether interested in pursuing coursework in calculus or using this as a capstone of high school math, this course will prepare all students to succeed on the SAT II subject test as well as a following course in college level calculus.
